With all the you beaut(!) beers out there, we can never make up our mind on which to put in our menu, so we decided we’d feature a different beautiful brew each month! The beer of the month at the moment is (insert dramatic drum roll, here):
The Padawan - Pale Ale
No, the Padawan is not named after Star Wars. The same name is pure, if by no means an undesirable coincidence. Padawan means "Pale Ale is doing well without a name" and was named in 2014 in an online voting for the beer name for a nameless Bierol Pale Ale. Today the Padawan is not only a classic but also the No. 1 in the core range. Because the Padawan is very fruity and has everything you need: the right dose (and of course that's not exactly small) and high-quality hops, a fine, already quickly creamy mouthfeel, slim in the amber body and a bit dry in the finish. But above all: mango. On the nose, on the palate, and it stays. Long. Really long. Lively, fresh, slim and with clear bitterness. Not just summer beer. Our favorite beer!
